Electrophonic Revolution
''Electrophonic Revolution'' is the debut and only studio album released by English-Irish boy band Phixx, formed from the five runners-up of the ITV reality television series '' Popstars: The Rivals'' who failed to make it into the boy band One True Voice. It was released in the United Kingdom on 1 November 2004, but despite the four singles from the album—" Hold on Me", "Love Revolution", "Wild Boys" and "Strange Love"—all making the top 20, the album failed to chart. Just after the release of "Wild Boys", Peter Smith left the group to pursue a solo career and to give him more time to write music. Alistair Richard Griffin (born 1 November 1977) is an English singer-songwriter and musician. Already an established songwriter, he first became famous as a solo artist through his appearances on the BBC television show ''Fame Academy 2'' in 2003, where he was mentored by Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees. Sly Fox was a short-lived American pop duo, consisting of Gary "Mudbone" Cooper and Michael Camacho. The duo came to prominence in the mid-1980s with their UK/U.S. top 10 hit single " Let's Go All the Way". They released one studio album of the same name which charted within the U.S. Top 40, and a couple of subsequent singles before breaking up. History The duo was assembled by record producer Ted Currier, and presented as wholesome, clean-living teen idols. Judie Tzuke ( ; born Judie Myers, 3 April 1956) is an English singer-songwriter. She is best known for her 1979 hit " Stay with Me till Dawn", which reached number 16 on the UK Singles Chart. Life and career Early life Tzuke's family relocated from Poland to England in the 1920s, and changed their surname from Tzuke to Myers, like other Jewish families from Eastern Europe. Her mother, Jean Silverside, was a television actress, and her father, Sefton Myers, was a successful property developer who also managed artists and singers—most notably Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice during the writing of ''Jesus Christ Superstar''. Tzuke preferred the original family name, started using it at school and so, when Tzuke embarked on her singing career, she used it as her stage name. ''Blue Peter'' is a British children's television entertainment programme created by John Hunter Blair. It is the longest-running children's TV show in the world, having been broadcast since October 1958. Matthew James Baker (born 23 December 1977) is a British television presenter. He co-presented the children's television show '' Blue Peter'' from 1999 until 2006, BBC One's ''Countryfile'' since 2009 and ''The One Show'' from 2011 to 2020, with Alex Jones.
