Electric Entertainment, Inc. is an American television and media production company, established in 2001 by veteran writer/producer Dean Devlin and led by Devlin along with partners Marc Roskin and Rachel Olschan. History Electric Entertainment was established when many workers of Centropolis Entertainment, including Dean Devlin left to form its organization in 2001. This included its development slate, that were originally controlled by Centropolis, including the film ''Eight Legged Freaks'', which is the first film to be produced by the company. Later that year, the studio struck a deal with Paramount Pictures in order to gain Electric access to Paramount's development slate. Dean Devlin
Dean Devlin (born August 27, 1962) is an American screenwriter, producer, director, and actor of film and television. He is best known for his collaborations with director Roland Emmerich, and for his work on the The Librarian (franchise), ''Librarian'' and Leverage (American TV series), ''Leverage'' television franchises. He is a co-founder of the production companies Centropolis Entertainment and Electric Entertainment. TSG Entertainment Finance LLC ( d.b.a. TSG Entertainment) is an American film financing entity which primarily funds live action films. TSG stands for parent company The Seelig Group. TSG was established after the U.S. theatrical release of '' Parental Guidance'' to replace Dune Entertainment as a result of Dune not renewing their deal with 20th Century Fox.
