Electric Apricot
''Electric Apricot: Quest For Festeroo'' is a mockumentary film by Primus lead-man Les Claypool, featuring himself as well as others using pseudonyms. The band Electric Apricot played occasional shows in 2004 and 2005, unannounced, in the California area for footage. The Electric Apricot also made an appearance at the SXSW music festival in Austin, TX in 2007. The movie has been screened at film festivals internationally, including the Bonnaroo Music Festival and The Raindance Festival in London. The movie tells the story of a UCLA filmmaker making a music documentary. Claypool himself plays the role of drummer-singer Lapland "Lapdog" Miclovik of rising jam-band Electric Apricot, heading to the holy grail of festivals, Festeroo. Les Claypool
Leslie Edward Claypool (born September 29, 1963) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, filmmaker, and author. He is best known as the founder, lead singer, bassist, primary songwriter, and only continuous member of the rock band Primus since its formation in 1984. Frequently considered one of the best bassists of all time, his playing style is well known for mixing tapping, flamenco-like strumming, whammy bar bends, and slapping. Outside of Primus, Claypool has also been involved in a number of side projects, including supergroups such as Oysterhead (with Trey Anastasio and Stewart Copeland) and Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains (with Buckethead, Bryan Mantia, and Bernie Worrell). Dian Bachar
Dian Bachar (; born October 26, 1970) is an American actor most notable for his roles in various films by or starring his friends Trey Parker and Matt Stone, such as ''Cannibal! The Musical'' (George Noon), ''Orgazmo'' (Ben Chapleski) and his most famous role as Kenny "Squeak" Scolari in 1998's ''BASEketball'', as well as making the occasional appearance on ''South Park''. Adam Gates
Adam Gates is a graphic designer and musician from Orinda, California. Music Early Years (1978-1980) Gates played with many bands in his formative years, establishing relationships that would inform his entire musical career. Some of his early projects were Town Number Eight (with songwriter Derek Greenberg) and various hardcore punk rock bands that were all heavily influenced by the LA Hardcore sound.
