''Electra Woman and Dyna Girl'' (stylized as ''Electra Woman & Dyna Girl'') is a 2016 American superhero comedy web series that is a reboot of the 1976 television series of the same name. Chris Marrs Piliero is an American actor, writer, producer, and director of short films and music videos. Piliero directed the 2010 music video for '' Tighten Up'' by The Black Keys, which won the 2010 MTV Video Music Award for Breakthrough Video. Piliero subsequently directed the music video for '' Howlin' for You'' by The Black Keys—a parody in the form of an action movie trailer. Released in February 2011, it includes Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney (The Black Keys) in a minor role of two henchmen referred to as ''"Las Teclas de Negro"''. An advertorial is an advertisement in the form of editorial content. The term "advertorial" is a blend (see portmanteau) of the words "advertisement" and "editorial." Merriam-Webster dates the origin of the word to 1946. In printed publications, the advertisement is usually written to resemble an objective article and designed to ostensibly look like a legitimate and independent news story. In television, the advertisement is similar to a short infomercial presentation of products or services. These can either be in the form of a television commercial or as a segment on a talk show or variety show. Show, don't tell is a technique used in various kinds of texts to allow the reader to experience the story through actions, words, thoughts, senses, and feelings rather than through the author's exposition, summarization, and description. It avoids adjectives describing the author's analysis, but instead describes the scene in such a way that readers can draw their own conclusions. The technique applies equally to nonfiction and all forms of fiction, literature including haiku and Imagism poetry in particular, speech, movie making, and playwriting. Bechdel Test
The Bechdel test ( ) is a measure of the representation of women in film (and, by extension, in fiction in general). The test asks whether a film features at least two women talking to each other about something other than a man. The measure sometimes is enhanced by adding that the two female characters be named in the film. Passing or failing the test is not necessarily indicative of how well women are represented in any specific work. Rather, the test is used as an indicator for the active presence of women in the entire field of film and other fiction, and to call attention to gender inequality in fiction.
