Mansfield is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of Queensland. The district is based in the south-eastern suburbs of Brisbane. It is named for the suburb of Mansfield Mansfield is a market town and the administrative centre of Mansfield District in Nottinghamshire, England. It is the largest town in the wider Mansfield Urban Area (followed by Sutton-in-Ashfield). Burbank is a greenbelt suburb in the City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. In the , Burbank had a population of 1,050 people. Geography Burbank is an outer suburb of City of Brisbane and borders City of Redland to the east and City of Logan to the south. Burbank has a number of small intermittent creeks winding between cleared and uncleared rolling hills. The main road across in the area is the Mount Gravatt-Capalaba Road. There are also a couple of working and hobby farms. There are a few palm nurseries and at least two turf farms in the area. Burbank has a number of churches and temples and there is a Jewish school. It was formed in 2008 by a merger of the Queensland divisions of the Liberal Party and the National Party. Ian Bradley Walker (born 18 November 1954) is an Australian politician. He was a Liberal National member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly from 2012 to 2017, representing the electorate of Mansfield. It was initially formed in October 1943 as the Queensland People's Party (QPP), which then absorbed the disbanded Queensland branch of the United Australia Party in 1944. Bill Kaus
William Bernard Kaus (24 May 1923 – 20 December 2006) was a businessman and member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly. Biography Kaus was born at Kangaroo Point, Queensland, to parents William Rahman Kaus and his wife Doreen May (née Baker). He was involved in the family business, Kaus Bros Bedding Manufacturers. In World War II he joined the Royal Australian Air Force and was assigned as a Flying officer to the 161 Squadron. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and France's highest honour, the Legion of Honour in 2005. On 12 June 1948 Kaus married Neth Florette Hutchinson and together had two sons and two daughters (one of whom was the federal MP Andrea West).
