Elect'road
The Elect'Road is a plug-in series hybrid version of Renault's popular Kangoo. Sales began in Europe in 2003, mainly in France, Norway and a few in the UK. The Elect'Road was sold alongside Renault's Electri'cité electric-drive Kangoo battery electric van. The Renault Kangoo is a family of vans built by Renault since 1997 across three generations. It is sold as a passenger Minivan, multi-purpose vehicle or as a light commercial vehicle. State of charge (SOC) quantifies the remaining capacity available in a battery at a given time and in relation to a given state of ageing.
