Elaine Nekritz
Elaine Nekritz (born December 11, 1957) is an American attorney and politician. She served as a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 57th District from 2001 to 2017. She was formerly the Democratic Committeeman of Northfield Township, Illinois. Prior to her election as representative of the 57th district, Nekritz was a member of the law firm of Altheimer and Gray, working as a real estate attorney and later becoming a partner with the firm. She also worked as legislative aide to Jeffrey Schoenberg, now the state senator for the 9th District, while he served as the state representative of the 58th District. Nekritz was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. She currently resides in Northbrook, Illinois, with her husband, Barry. Elizabeth Coulson (born September 8, 1954) is a former Republican Party (United States), Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 17th district from 1997 to 2011. Personal background Born in Hastings, Nebraska, Coulson received a B.S. in education from the University of Kansas in 1976, an ACPT in Physical Therapy from the Northwestern University Medical School in 1977 and an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University in 1985. From 1981 until 2002, she was an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the Chicago Medical School and rose to become the department chair. Jeffrey Schoenberg is an American politician. He is a former Democratic member of the Illinois Senate, representing the 9th district from 2003 to 2013. He earlier served for six terms in the Illinois House of Representatives, first elected to that position in 1990. Schoenberg retired from the Senate after the 2012 elections to pursue work in philanthropy.
