El Modena High School
El Modena High School, colloquially called El Mo or ElMo, is a traditional four-year public high school located in the El Modena neighborhood of the City of Orange in Orange County, California. The school celebrated its 50th anniversary during the 2016-17 school year. It is part of the Orange Unified School District and competes in the North Hills League. Activities Athletics A vanguard, used as the school's mascot, is a soldier in the foremost division or the front part of an army. Vanguards are the troops assembled in the front line when going into battle, which is why the school newspaper is titled ''The Frontline''. ''The Orange County Register'' is a paid daily newspaper published in California. The ''Register'', published in Orange County, California, is owned by the private equity firm Alden Global Capital via its Digital Fiest/Media News subsidiaries. Equal Access Act
The Equal Access Act is a United States federal law passed as Title VIII of the Education for Economic Security Act in 1984 to compel federally funded public secondary schools to provide equal access to extracurricular student clubs. Lobbied for by Christian groups who wanted to ensure students the right to conduct Bible study programs during lunch and after school, it is also essential in litigation regarding the right of students to form gay–straight alliances; and to form groups focused on any religion or on secularism. Haylie Marie Wagner (born April 7, 1993) is an American softball pitcher for the Chicago Bandits of National Pro Fastpitch. From 2012 to 2015, she was a left-handed pitcher for the Michigan Wolverines softball team. She was unanimously selected the 2012 Big Ten Conference Softball Pitcher of the Year after compiling a 32–7 record and a 1.53 earned run average (ERA) in her freshman year. Michael Terry (born June 5, 1973) is a former middle-distance runner who competed in the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics for Antigua and Barbuda. Terry competed for the UCLA track and field team from 1992 to 1996. During those years, he was a contributing member of UCLA's four consecutive Pac-10 Conference championship teams. The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. USFL
The United States Football League (USFL) was a professional American football league that played for three seasons, 1983 through 1985. The league played a spring/summer schedule in each of its active seasons. The 1986 season was scheduled to be played in the autumn/winter, directly competing against the long-established National Football League (NFL).
