El Dorado High School (EHS) is a public secondary school in El Dorado, Kansas, United States. It is operated by El Dorado USD 490 public school district, and serves students of grades 9 to 12. Mascot is Wildcats, and the school colors are red and black. Administration El Dorado High School is currently under the leadership of Principal Bruce Lolling. The athletic director is Scott Vang. Stanley Armour Dunham (March 23, 1918February 8, 1992) was the maternal grandfather of Barack Obama, the 44th president of the United States. He and his wife Madelyn Payne Dunham raised Obama from the age of 10 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Bobby Douglass
Robert Gilchrist Douglass (born June 22, 1947) is a former American football quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) who played most of his career with the Chicago Bears, who drafted him in the second round of the 1969 NFL Draft. During his career, he also played for the San Diego Chargers, the New Orleans Saints, and the Green Bay Packers. Douglass retired after the 1978 season, after playing 10 seasons in the NFL. Douglass was raised in El Dorado, Kansas, where his father was a football coach and attended the University of Kansas.
