Carlos Hugo Christensen
Carlos Hugo Christensen (Santiago del Estero, 15 December 1914 – Rio de Janeiro, 30 November 1999) was an Argentina, Argentine film director, screenwriter and film producer. He was of Danes, Danish descent through his paternal side. Christensen directed fifty-four feature films some of which are considered masterpieces of what is known as the Argentine golden era of cinema. ''Si Muero antes de despertar'' (''If I Should Die Before I Wake'') and ''No abras nunca esa puerta'' (''Never Open That Door''), were part of a retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 2016. Susana Freyre
Susana Guenola Zubiri (better known as Susana Freyre) is an Argentine actress. She appeared in 30 films and television shows between 1945 and 1984. She starred in the film ''Three Loves in Rio'', which was entered into the 9th Berlin International Film Festival. Her mother's surname is Vidal. She began his work in the cinema in 1945 in Las seis suegras de Barba Azul directed by Carlos Hugo Christensen (1914-1999), whom she married and who would direct most of the films in which she participated and accompanied him during his stay in Mexico. Juana Sujo
Juana Sujo (1913–1961) was an Argentine stage and film actress. Sujo was a noted stage actress, and in 1939 appeared in her first film. In 1948 she left Argentina due to her opposition to the regime of Juan Perón and settled in Venezuela where she lived until her death. Biography She was born as Juana Sujovolsky to an Argentine Jewish family in Buenos Aires and spent some of childhood in Brazil and Germany. She was educated alongside her sisters Berta and Ana in Berlin where they were currently living in 1923. She studied with the renowned Max Reinhardt and Ilka Grüning, and was the companion and friend of actress Lilli Palmer. Juan Carlos Thorry (June 28, 1908, in Coronel Pringles – February 12, 2000 in San Antonio de Padua), born José Antonio Torrontegui, was an Argentine film actor, tango musician and director. Bolívar Films is a Venezuelan film production company, headquartered in Caracas, which works on films, advertisements, post-production, and television. History Bolívar Films began in 1939, with documentaries made by Luis Guillermo Villegas Blanco and Samuel Dembo.
