''El Amor'' is the seventh studio album by Spanish duo Azúcar Moreno, released on Sony International in 1994. The album saw Azúcar Moreno making their first collaborations with some of the top names in the world of Latin music in the United States, such as former Miami Sound Machine member Emilio Estefan Jr., composer and producer Estéfano, Kike Santander and Juan R. Marquez, the team behind numerous hits for world-renowned artists such as Julio Iglesias, Gloria Estefan, Jon Secada, Shakira and Chayanne. Azúcar Moreno (; Spanish language, Spanish for "brown sugar") is a Spanish music duo composed of sisters Antonia "Toñi" and Encarnación "Encarna" Salazar. The duo has sold more than 3 million albums and singles since 1984 domestically, and became famous in Europe, the United States and Latin America in the 1990s, with approximately 12 million albums sold worldwide. Marco Antonio Muñiz (born 3 March 1933) is a Mexican singer from Jalisco, Mexico. Known all over Latin America, he also acted in the 1965 film ''Sinful'' (Spanish: El Pecador). He belongs to the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. Early life and career Muñiz was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco. From an early age, he showed musical talent. Rosana Arbelo (; full name Rosana Arbelo Gopar; born October 24, 1963), is a Spanish singer and composer. In the Spanish-speaking world, she is known professionally as simply Rosana. Merengue is a type of music and dance originating in the Dominican Republic, which has become a very popular genre throughout Latin America, and also in several major cities in the United States with Latino communities. Merengue was inscribed on November 30, 2016 in the representative list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity of UNESCO. Merengue was developed in the middle of the 1800s, originally played with European stringed instruments ( bandurria and guitar). Years later, the stringed instruments were replaced by the accordion, thus conforming, together with the güira and the tambora, the instrumental structure of the typical merengue ensemble. ''Bandido'' is the fourth studio album by Spain, Spanish duo Azúcar Moreno, released on Columbia Records, CBS-Epic Records, Epic in 1990. The album became the Salazár sisters' international breakthrough. The title track "Bandido (Azúcar Moreno song), Bandido" was chosen to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 1990, held in Zagreb, Yugoslavia.
