El Ametralladora
''El Ametralladora'' (English: "The machine gun") is a 1943 film directed by Aurelio Robles Castillo and Jaime Luis Contreras, starring Pedro Infante, Margarita Mora and Ángel Garasa. It is the sequel to the movie ''¡Ay, Jalisco, no te rajes! (film), Ay, Jalisco...no te rajes!'', starring Jorge Negrete as the character Salvador Pérez Gómez 'El Ametralladora', and based on the book ''Ay, Jalisco...no te rajes!'' written by Robles Castillo. It was filmed in several locations in Jalisco including Lake Chapala, Atotonilco El Alto, Atotonilco, Guadalajara and Tepatitlán and distributed by Jalisco Films, S.A. The film was dedicated to Carlos López y Valles, Carlos López who played Chaflán in the prequel. It was released September 28, 1943 at the Theresa Cinema (Cine Teresa). Chucho Monge
Jesús Monge Ramírez (November 9, 1910 – August 9, 1964), better known as Chucho Monge, was a Mexican composer best known for writing traditional songs. Born in Morelia, Michoacán, he is the writer of several well-known songs, including "México Lindo y Querido", "La Feria de las Flores", "Pobre Corazón", and "Cartas Marcadas", among others. Monge started his musical career competing against other composers like Agustín Lara and Alfonso Esparza Oteo in waltz composition contests. Later on, he became a radio artist in XEQ, XEW and XEB stations. He developed a partnership with Lucha Reyes, who helped popularize his song “La Feria de las Flores”. The song was inspiration for a Disney movie that never happened, due to legal reasons. Mariachi
Mariachi (, , ) is a genre of regional Mexican music that dates back to at least the 18th century, evolving over time in the countryside of various regions of western Mexico. The usual mariachi group today consists of as many as eight violins, two trumpets and at least one guitar, including a high-pitched vihuela and an acoustic bass guitar called a guitarrón, and all players taking turns singing lead and doing backup vocals. From the 19th to 20th century, migrations from rural areas into Guadalajara, along with the Mexican government's cultural promotion gradually re-labeled it as ''son'' style, with its alternative name of ''mariachi'' becoming used for the 'urban' form. Modifications of the music include influences from other music such as polkas and waltzes, the addition of trumpets and the use of charro outfits by mariachi musicians. Roberto Cañedo Ramírez (30 March 1919 – 16 June 1999), better known as Roberto Cañedo, was a Mexican actor of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. During his career, he appeared in over 300 films. Manuel Noriega Ruiz
Manuel "Manolo" Noriega, (June 24, 1880 – August 12, 1961) was a Spanish-born Mexican stage and film actor, screenwriter, and film director. Born Manuel Noriega Ruiz in Colombres, Spain, he worked in live theatre for many years, performing in his native Spain as well as in Mexico, Cuba and the United States. A pioneer in silent film, he made his first screen appearance in 1907. It is believed some of his early silent films have been lost, but his main body of work began in talkies in the early 1930s, performing in close to two hundred sound films. Noriega earned an Ariel Award nomination for "Best Actor in a minor role" for his performance in the 1946 film ''Pepita Jiménez''. Married to Hortensia Castañeda Avila, their daughter Carmen became a singer who married Tito Guízar. Noriega died of gastric ulcer in Mexico City on August 12, 1961, and is buried at the Panteón Jardín in Mexico City. ''Eugenia'' is a genus of flowering plants in the myrtle family Myrtaceae. It has a worldwide, although highly uneven, distribution in tropical and subtropical regions.
