The Ekoparty is an annual computer security conference that brings together a variety of people interested in information security. The Briefings take place regularly in Buenos Aires, Argentina. History Ekoparty was founded in 2001 by Juan Pablo Daniel Borgna, Leonardo Pigner, Federico Kirschbaum, Jerónimo Basaldúa and Francisco Müller Amato. Wardriving is the act of searching for Wi-Fi wireless networks as well as cell towers, usually from a moving vehicle, using a laptop or smartphone. Software for wardriving is freely available on the internet. Warbiking, warcycling, warwalking and similar use the same approach but with other modes of transportation.
