Eko Boys' High School is a school in Lagos that was founded on 13 January 1913, by Rev. William Benjamin Euba, a Methodist Reverend, who desired to establish a secondary school that would provide educational opportunities for the less privilege citizens of Lagos. Bisi Alimi
Bisi Alimi (born Ademola Iyandade Ojo Kazeem Alimi, 17 January 1975) is a Nigerian gay rights activist, public speaker, blog writer and HIV/LGBT advocate who gained international attention when he became the first Nigerian to come out on television. Early life Alimi was born in the Mushin district of Lagos to father Raski Ipadeola Balogun Alimi (a Nigerian police officer) and Mother Idiatu Alake Alimi (a university clerk). Alimi was raised in Lagos, where he attended primary and secondary school. He was the third in a family of five children from his mother, and sixth from a family of ten children from his father. Alao Aka-Bashorun
Alao is a village on the narrow east coast of Tutuila Island, American Samoa. It is located close to the island's easternmost point, just to the north of Aunu'u Island. Alao is home to white sand beaches, and is one of the oldest settlements in all of American Samoa. It is located in Vaifanua County, American Samoa. The village gained international attention in 2005 when the village council moved to ban Asian-owned businesses within village boundaries. Its ranking chief, Sogimaletavai Leo, told reporters that the village wanted to protect small Samoan-owned businesses. Idowu Sofola
Chief Idowu Sofola, SAN, MON (29 September 1934 – 23 March 2018) was a Nigerian jurist, Bencher and president of the Nigerian Bar Association. He was Previously the Chairman of the Nigerian Body of Benchers. Early life Chief Idowu was born on September 1934 at Ikenne, a town in Ogun State in southwestern Nigeria. He was enrolled at St. Saviour's School, Ikenne in 1945 for his primary education. In 1952, he was admitted into Eko Boys High School, where he completed his Secondary education. Upon completion of his secondary school education, he joined the Lagos State Judiciary in 1958 as a Court Clerk, having decided this to be a pathway to understanding the practice of Law. Ola Oni
Ola Oni (1933–1999) was a Nigerian marxist political economist, socialist and human right activist. Early life The anti-military and pro-democracy, Ola Oni hails from Ekiti State southwestern Nigeria where he was born but based in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, Nigeria.
