Ekkamai BTS Station
Ekkamai station ( th, สถานีเอกมัย, ) is a BTS skytrain station, on the Sukhumvit line in Phra Khanong Nuea Subdistrict, Watthana District and Phra Khanong Subdistrict, Khlong Toei District, Bangkok, Thailand. The station opened on 5 December 1999 along with the rest of the Sukhumvit Line's first phase. The elevated station is located on Sukhumvit Road at Soi Ekkamai (Soi Sukhumvit 63) next to the eastern bus terminal to eastern provinces. Bangkok Planetarium, the oldest planetarium in the country is next to the station within the Science Centre for Education. BTS (), also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a South Korean boy band formed in 2010 and debuting in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment. Sukhumvit Road ( th, ถนนสุขุมวิท, , ), or Highway 3 ( th, ทางหลวงแผ่นดินหมายเลข 3), is a major road in Thailand, and a major surface road of Bangkok and other cities. It follows a coastal route from Bangkok to Khlong Yai District, Trat border to Koh Kong, Cambodia. Sukhumvit Road is named after the fifth chief of the Department of Highways, Phra Bisal Sukhumvit. The Science Center for Education (, ') is a science museum in Khlong Toei District, Bangkok, Thailand. It is located next to the Eastern Bus Terminal (Ekkamai) on Sukhumvit Road, and is a science exhibition center. The Bangkok Planetarium (, ') is the oldest planetarium in Thailand and Southeast Asia. Eastern Thailand
Eastern Thailand is a region of Thailand bordering Cambodia on the east, Northeastern Thailand in the north, and central Thailand on the west. Sukhumvit Line
The Sukhumvit line ( th, รถไฟฟ้า สายสุขุมวิท) or Light Green line, is an elevated metro rail line of the BTS Skytrain in Bangkok, Thailand. Kluaynamthai, also Kluai Nam Thai, ( th, กล้วยน้ำไท), is the name of the area surrounding Soi Sukhumvit 42 (ซอยสุขุมวิท 42) in Bangkok, and an unofficial name of the ''soi'' (side-street) itself.
