Ekaterini Thanou ( el, Αικατερίνη Θάνου, ; born 1 February 1975), also known as Katerina Thanou, is a Greek former sprinter. She won numerous medals in the 100 metres, including an Olympic silver medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia, while she was the 2002 European champion in Munich, Germany. She had also been crowned world and European champion in the 60 metres at the indoor championships. Katerina Stefanidi (Greek: Κατερίνα Στεφανίδη; born 4 February 1990) is a Greek pole vaulter. She won the gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics with a jump of 4.85 meters and has also competed at the 2012 London and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Stefanidi was the 2017 World champion and earned bronze at the 2019 World Championships. Indoors, she is a two-time World Indoor bronze medallist from 2016 and 2018. Rowing, sometimes called crew in the United States, is the sport of racing boats using oars. It differs from paddling sports in that rowing oars are attached to the boat using oarlocks, while paddles are not connected to the boat. Aikaterini "Katerina" Nikolaidou ( el, Αικατερίνη "Κατερίνα" Νικολαΐδου; born 22 October 1992) is a Greek rower. Nikolaidou represented Greece, along with Sofia Asoumanaki at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, finishing in the 4th place (Double sculls).
