Ejaz Chaudhary
Ejaz Ahmed Chaudhary, commonly referred to as Ejaz Chaudhary (born 15 September 1956), is a serving Pakistani senator, national politician, and former deputy mayor of Lahore. As of 2019, he is the President of PTI Punjab. In 2007 Chaudhary had joined Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. He has served as Imran Khan's chief political advisor, and served as the Punjab President of the party from 2013 to 2015. After becoming Punjab President he serves on both the central executive committee and core committee (Politburo) In 2021, Ejaz Chaudhary was nominated by PTI to be its representative in the Senate of Pakistan representing Punjab. He won the Senate election from Punjab. In April 2021, Chaudhary was appointed by Prime Minister Imran Khan to the slot of parliamentary leader of the ruling party's caucus in the Pakistani Senate. Senate of Pakistan or Aiwān-e-Bālā Pākistān ( ur, , , literally "Pakistan upper house"), is the upper legislative chamber of the bicameral legislature of Pakistan, and together with the National Assembly makes up the Parliament of Pakistan. First convened in 1973, the Senate's composition and powers are established by thArticle 59of the Constitution of Pakistan. Each of the four provinces are represented by 23 senators regardless of population, while the Islamabad Capital Territory is represented by four senators, all of whom serve staggered six-year terms. Muhammad Pervaiz Malik (; 18 November 1947 – 11 October 2021) was a Pakistani politician who had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since 13 August 2018 until his death in 2021. Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Hussain Qureshi ( ur, ; born 22 June 1956) is a Pakistani politician who served as the 29th Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2018 to 2022.
