Eintracht Ahaus is a German football club from the city of Ahaus, North Rhine-Westphalia. History The team was established in 1908 as ''Ahauser Ballspielclub'' and quickly underwent a pair of name changes, first playing as ''Ahauser Spielvereinigung 08'' and then later adopting the name ''Spiel-Verein Eintracht 08 Ahaus''.Grüne, Hardy (2001). The Landesliga Westfalen is a German amateur football division administered by the Westphalian Football and Athletics Association, one of the 21 German state football associations. Being the third level of the Westphalian state association, the Landesliga is currently a level seven division of the German football league system. History The Landesliga was introduced in September 1945 under the name of ''1. Division West'' as successor to the defunct Gauliga Westfalen. The first season started in February 1946 in an eastern and a western division separated due to geographical considerations.
