Einar Vaardal-Lunde
Einar Vaardal-Lunde (1915–2003) was a Norwegian architect. Vaardal-Lunde was educated at the Norwegian Institute of Technology, graduating in 1940. After World War II, he participated in the rebuilding efforts and reconstruction in Finnmark until 1948. In 1948, he began his own architectural firm in partnership with Torgeir Alvsaker. In 1970, he opened his own architectural firm called . He designed a number of public buildings (hotels, churches, hospitals, and others), mostly in Western Norway. or is a municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Tana bru. Vike Church (Vestland)
Vike Church ( no, Vike kyrkje) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Alver Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Vikanes, along the Romarheimsfjorden. It is one of two churches in the Osterfjorden parish which is part of the Nordhordland prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white, wooden church was built in a rectangular design in 1891 using plans drawn up by the architect Johannes Øvsthus. The church seats about 200 people. History In 1875, a cemetery was built in Vikanes. Soon after, people began asking for a chapel to be built by the cemetery. Around 1890, plans were made to build a chapel at the site. The parish hired Johannes Øvsthus to design the building and Askild S. Heldal was hired as the lead builder. The church was completed and consecrated in 1891. Nygård Church ( no, Nygård kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Bergen Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the Gravdal neighborhood in the city of Bergen. Kunnskapsforlaget () is a Norwegian publishing company based in Oslo. Kunnskapsforlaget was established in 1975, as a partnership between H. Aschehoug & Co. (W. Nygaard) and Gyldendal Norsk Forlag.
