Einar Bollason
Einar Gunnar Bollason (born 6 November 1943) is an Icelandic former basketball player, coach and TV analyst. As a player, he won the Icelandic championship six times with KR men's basketball, KR. In 2001, he was named to the Icelandic basketball team of the 20th century and the coach of the 20th century by the Icelandic Basketball Association. In 2020, he received the Knight's Cross of the Order of the Falcon from the president of Iceland. Early life Einar was born in Vesturbær in Reykjavík. Einar Olav Christiansen Dønnum (19 April 1897 – 22 April 1947) was a Norwegian Nazi collaborator who was executed during the legal purge in Norway after World War II. Early life Before the war, Einar was a manager and Sunday school teacher at a church. He worked there for 8 years before being forced to quit. Einar Þór Daníelsson (born 19 January 1970) is an Icelandic former footballer who played in for UMF Grindavík, KR Reykjavík, KAA Gent, FSV Zwickau, OFI Crete, Stoke City, Lillestrøm SK, ÍBV and also for the Iceland national team. Einar Henry Gerhardsen (; 10 May 1897 – 19 September 1987) was a Norwegian politician from the Labour Party of Norway. He was the 22nd prime minister of Norway for three periods, 1945–1951, 1955–1963 and 1963–1965. Einar Arnórsson (24 February 1880 – 29 March 1955) was an Icelandic politician, lawyer and law professor. He was the minister for Iceland from 4 May 1915 to 4 January 1917. Biography Einar was born in Minna-Mosfell in Grímsnes to Arnór Jónsson and Guðrún Þorgilsdóttir. He graduated in law from the University of Copenhagen in 1906. Einar Bragi (or Einar Bragi Sigurðsson) (7 April 1921, Eskifjördur - 26 March 2005, Reykjavík) was an Icelandic poet and publisher. He was a modernist who founded and edited the journal '' Birtingur'', the leading forum for modernism in Iceland at the time. Einar Bragi published nine books of poetry between 1950 and 1980. Carl Einar Andreas Forseth (1892–1988) was a Swedish artist, remembered above all for his mosaics in the Golden Hall in Stockholm City Hall completed in 1923. Einar Benediktsson, often referred to as Einar Ben (31 October 1864 – 12 January 1940) was an Icelandic poet and lawyer. Einar Benediktsson's poetry was a significant contribution to the nationalistic revival which led to Iceland's independence. To this end, he was active both in founding the Landvarnarflokkurinn in 1902, and as the editor of Iceland's first daily newspaper, Dagskrá, from 1896 to 1898. As a poet, he may be classified as a Neo-Romantic. He advocated for Greenland to become part of an independent Iceland. He pioneered as a strong advocate of inward foreign investment to utilize Iceland's natural resources. Nils Kurt Erik Einar Grönberg (5 September 2002 – 21 October 2021), who was commonly known as Einár, was a Swedish rapper. He released four albums, two of which topped the Swedish album chart.
