Brendan Eich
Brendan Eich (; born July 4, 1961) is an American computer programmer and technology executive. He created the JavaScript programming language and co-founded the Mozilla project, the Mozilla Foundation, and the Mozilla Corporation. He served as the Mozilla Corporation's chief technical officer before he was appointed chief executive officer, but resigned shortly after his appointment due to controversy over his opposition to same-sex marriage. He subsequently became the CEO of Brave Software. Early life Eich grew up in Pittsburgh; Gaithersburg, Maryland; and Palo Alto, and he attended Ellwood P. Cubberley High School, graduating in the class of 1979. Carsten Eich (born 9 January 1970) is a retired (East) German runner who specialized in the 10,000 metres and the marathons. He is an eight-time German champion and national record holder in the half marathon. Running career He was born in Leipzig and represented the clubs SC DHfK Leipzig, SG Motor Gohlis-Nord Leipzig, LAC Quelle Fürth and LG Braunschweig. Günter Eich (; 1 February 1907 – 20 December 1972) was a German lyricist, dramatist, and author. He was born in Lebus, on the Oder River, and educated in Leipzig, Berlin, and Paris. Life Eich made his first appearance in print with some poems in the ''Anthology of the Latest Poetry''. His first radio play, written in collaboration with Martin Raschke, was performed in 1929. From 1929–1932, Eich lived as a freelance writer in Dresden, Berlin, and on the Baltic coast, writing mainly for the radio. From 1939–1945, Eich served in the German army in a signals unit. In 1945 he was held as a war prisoner in an American internment camp, and in 1946 he was released and moved to Geisenhausen in Bavaria. William Eich
William Eich is an American lawyer and retired judge. He was Chief Judge of the Wisconsin Court of Appeals from 1989 to 1998. Earlier in his career, he served as a county judge and Wisconsin circuit judge in Dane County, Wisconsin. Biography Eich was born in Park Ridge, Illinois. He graduated from Maine East High School in 1956, Beloit College in 1960 and the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1963. Eich and his wife, Lynne, have four children.
