Ehsan Pahlevan ('' fa, احسان پهلوان'' ; born 25 July 1993) is an Iranian professional footballer who plays as a wide midfielder for Persian Gulf Pro League club Foolad. Club career Zob Ahan He joined Zob Ahan in the winter break of 2012–13 Season on loan from Gostaresh until the end of the season. At the end of the season, his transfer completed and he joined Zob Ahan officially. Sepahan On 12 January 2014, Zob Ahan accepted a bid to loan Pahlavan to Sepahan until the end of the season. He joined Sepahan on the following day, where he played one league match and one Hazfi Cup match. At the end of the season, he returned to Zob Ahan. Persepolis On 2 September 2020, Pahlavan signed a two-year contract with Persian Gulf Pro League champions Persepolis. Hazfi Cup
Hazfi Cup (Jām-e Hazfi; ) is the Iranian football knockout cup competition, run by the Iranian Football Federation. The Iranian football league was not held during the 1980s, hence the winner of Hazfi Cup represented Iran in the Asian Club Championship. After the revive of the league system, the champion of Iranian league qualified for Asian Club Championship and the winner of Hazfi Cup ran for Asian Cup Winners' Cup. However, the Asian Cup Winners' Cup merged with the Asian Champions Cup in 2002–03 to form the AFC Champions League and Iran had been initially given two (and later four) slots in this competitions. The IRIFF decided to award one of Iran's AFC Champions League spots to the winner of the Hazfi Cup, and since then, the winners of Hazfi Cup have always been allocated a spot in the AFC Champions League.
