Eheads
Eraserheads (sometimes stylized as ERASƎRHEADS or ƎRASƎRHƎADS) are a Filipino alternative rock music, rock band formed in 1989. With a line-up comprising Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro, and Raimund Marasigan, the band became one of the most influential and successful in the history of Filipino music. Cambio (band)
Cambio is a Filipino rock group founded in 2003. The band is composed of former Eheads members Raimund Marasigan, Buddy Zabala and Kris Gorra-Dancel with Ebe Dancel and Diego Mapa. History When Ely Buendia left the Eraserheads sometime in 2002, remaining members Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro and Raimund Marasigan decided to continue as an abbreviated "Eheads" by adding singer-guitarist Kris Gorra (from the indie punk girl group, ''Fatal Posporos''. After just a few months, Marcus Adoro left the Eheads as well to indulge in his hobby-sport, surfing, and to pursue his own musical project, ''Markus Highway''. Despite their setbacks, Zabala, Marasigan and Gorra (later, Gorra-Dancel, upon marrying Vin Dancel from '' Twisted Halo'') decided to continue on, with the addition of Ebe Dancel (Kris Gorra-Dancel's brother-in-law) from ''Sugarfree'' and Diego Mapa from ''Monsterbot''; consequently forming Cambio. Enneads
The ''Enneads'' ( grc-gre, Ἐννεάδες), fully ''The Six Enneads'', is the collection of writings of the philosopher Plotinus, edited and compiled by his student Porphyry (270). Plotinus was a student of Ammonius Saccas, and together they were founders of Neoplatonism. His work, through Augustine of Hippo, the Cappadocian Fathers, Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite and several subsequent Christian and Muslim thinkers, has greatly influenced Western and Near-Eastern thought. Contents Porphyry edited the writings of Plotinus in fifty-four treatises, which vary greatly in length and number of chapters, mostly because he split original texts and joined others together to match this very number. Buddy Zabala
Hector Avanceña Zabala (born November 13, 1971), popularly known as Buddy Zabala, is a Filipino musician and producer. He is currently the bassist of Filipino pop band Moonstar88 and indie band Cambio, and widely known as the bassist and backing vocalist of the alternative rock band, Eraserheads. He also served as bassist to The Dawn and Hilera. Early life Zabala was born in Zamboanga City, Philippines and attended University of the Philippines Diliman in Quezon City. Raimund Marasigan
Raimund Emmanuel Parcon Marasigan (born May 22, 1971) is a Filipino rock musician and record producer. His first name is often misspelled ''Raymond'' or ''Raimond'' though he personally prefers to spell his name as Raymund. The breadth of his projects has made him one of the most well-respected mainstays of the Philippine rock band scene. He was the drummer, vocalist and lyricist alongside bandmate Ely Buendia of The Eraserheads, and the current keyboard/synths player for Pedicab, former rhythm guitarist and now frontman of Sandwich, current drummer of Cambio, vocalist of Project 1 and the man behind Squid 9. Ely Eleandre Basiño Buendia (born November 2, 1970), popularly known as Ely Buendia, is a Filipino musician, singer, songwriter, author and film director who gained fame as the guitarist, lead vocalist and principal songwriter of the famed Filipino rock band, the Eraserheads and also the lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist of Pupil. ''Eraserhead'' is a 1977 American surrealist film, surrealist horror film written, directed, produced, and edited by David Lynch. The 1997 MTV Video Music Awards aired live on September 4, 1997, honoring the best music videos from June 17, 1996, to June 16, 1997. The show was hosted by Chris Rock at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. American singer Beck took home the most Moonmen of the night, winning a total of five awards. ''Cutterpillow'' (stylized as ''CUTTƎRPILLOW'') is the third studio album by Filipino alternative rock group Eraserheads. It was released in the Philippines on December 8, 1995 by BMG Records (Pilipinas), Inc. The album became a highlight in Pinoy music as it introduced classic songs such as "Huwag Mo Nang Itanong", "Overdrive", and the popular "Ang Huling El Bimbo". It was both critically and commercially successful, certifying 11× Platinum by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI).
