Egil Offenberg
Egil Offenberg (8 March 1899 – 28 July 1975) was a Norwegian businessperson and politician for the Conservative party. He was the chief executive officer at the Schou Brewery from 1932 to 1967. He was active in the Norwegian resistance movement and became part of its leadership in 1942. Schou Brewery
The Schou Brewery ( no, Schous Bryggeri) is a former Norwegian brewery. History The company originated in a brewery that Johannes Thrane founded around 1800. Jørgen Young owned the brewery for some time before it was purchased by Christian Julius Schou (1792–1874) in 1837. The brewery was operated at several different locations in Oslo, and in 1873 operations were moved to a new facility at the Schousløkken property at ''Trondheimsveien'' (Trondheim Street) no. 2. The Schou Brewery took over the Foss Brewery in 1917, when the Foss Brewery was unable to receive raw materials from Germany during the First World War. The Royal Norwegian Ministry of Provisioning and Reconstruction ( no, Forsynings- og gjenreisningsdepartementet) was a Norwegian ministry that existed from 1939 to 1950. It was established on 1 October 1939 as the Ministry of Provisioning, though having no relation to the Ministry of Provisioning which existed from 1916 to 1922. Einar Gerhardsen
Einar Henry Gerhardsen (; 10 May 1897 – 19 September 1987) was a Norwegian politician from the Labour Party of Norway. He was the 22nd prime minister of Norway for three periods, 1945–1951, 1955–1963 and 1963–1965. With totally 17 years in office, he is the longest serving Prime Minister in Norway since the introduction of parliamentarism. Gerhardsen's First Cabinet, often called the Unification Cabinet ( no, Samlingsregjeringen), was a Norwegian government appointed to serve under Prime Minister Einar Gerhardsen between 25 June and 5 November 1945, in the aftermath of the Second World War. The preceding Nygaardsvold's Cabinet had been appointed nine years earlier, but in 1940, just before scheduled elections, Norway was invaded by Germany, and the government had to flee to London. Eilif Hvide Bang (15 April 1892 – 28 January 1953) was a Norwegian businessperson. He was born in Kristiania as a son of consul-general Thomas Cathinco Bang (1863—1929) and Louise Bielke. In 1923 he married Edda Louise Albertovna Schoeneckerl from St. Petersburg. He finished his secondary education in 1910, took business education in Köln and Dresden, Germany from 1910 to 1912 and worked in Germany, England, France and Sweden from 1912 to 1916. He was hired as office manager at Tofte Cellulosefabrik in 1916, and was promoted to manager in 1927 and chief executive officer in 1929.
