Efrén Echeverría
Efren Echeverria (4 March 1932 – 19 June 2018) was a Paraguayan musician guitarist, composer, and compiler. Childhood and Youth When Efren was nine years old, a neighbor, Eusebio Cantero, taught him the first chords on guitar. With him, he learned the authentic pieces of folk repertoire of anonymous authors. Thus, from an early age, Paraguayan music became familiar to him; therefore to own a guitar became a passionate desire of his childhood. And not a long time passed until the desired instrument came to his life. Already in his teens, Echeverria became part of the act placed in any "Musiqueada" (musical parties) that was done in his homeland. Soon Efren takes over the serenades of the place, always pushing the guitar and sometimes up the violin or accordion with buttons. Efrén Pérez Rivera
Efrén Pérez Rivera (March 10, 1929 – May 15, 2011) was a Puerto Rican environmentalist leader and college professor. He got married at the age of 28 with Pezinka Berenguer, till the day he died. He had three children with her, Efrén Pérez Berenguer, Manuel Pérez Berenguer, and José Luis Pérez Berenguer Biography Efrén Pérez Rivera was born on March 10, 1929, at Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, where he lived during his first years. At the age of four, he moved with his family to Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. He attended the College of Agriculture and Mechanical Arts (known today as the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez), obtaining a bachelor's degree in biology in 1952. Pérez later became a professor of biology and chemistry at the Peñuelas High School. Pérez did his obligatory military service in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, during which he was stationed in Hawaii. Efrén Vázquez Rodríguez (born 2 September 1986 in Barakaldo, Spain) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. He currently is a test rider for KTM's Moto3 project. He has also competed in the 125cc and 250cc world championship classes during his career, and was the 2008 Spanish 125GP championship winner. At the 2014 Indianapolis Grand Prix, Vázquez achieved his first Grand Prix victory – in his 116th start – after slipstreaming past Romano Fenati on the final straight, prevailing by 0.065 seconds. He added a second victory later in the season, in Malaysia, en route to fourth in the championship. Efren Geronimo Peñaflorida, (born March 5, 1981), is a Filipino teacher and development worker. He offers Filipino youth an alternative to street gangs through education, recreating school settings in unconventional locations such as cemeteries and trash dumps. In March 2009, Peñaflorida was featured as a CNN Hero as part of the news network's program to honor individuals who make extraordinary contributions to help others. Efren Manalang Reyes (born August 26, 1954), popularly known by the nickname "Bata" (English: "Kid"), is a Filipino professional pool player. Reyes is widely considered one of the greatest pool players of all time. A winner of over 100 international titles, Reyes was the first player to win the WPA World Championships in two different pool disciplines. Efren Saldivar (born September 30, 1969) is an American serial killer who murdered patients while working as a respiratory therapist at Adventist Health Glendale, named at that time Glendale Adventist Medical Center in Glendale, California. Early life Born in Brownsville, Texas, he graduated from the College of Medical and Dental Careers in North Hollywood, California in 1988. He obtained work as a respiratory therapist employed by the Glendale Adventist Medical Center, working the night shift when there were fewer staff on duty. Murders While working at Adventist Health Glendale in Glendale, California, Saldivar killed his patients by injecting a paralytic drug which led to respiratory and/or cardiac arrest. These drugs could have included morphine and suxamethonium chloride as they were found in his locker with fresh and used syringes.

Efren Torres born La Palma, Mexico,(November 29, 1943 – February 25, 2010) was a Mexican professional boxer, who was world champion in the flyweight division. Torres was born in La Palma, Mexico in 1943, and spent most of his early life in his family town of Guadalajara. Professional career Known as "El Alacrán" (the Scorpion), Torres turned pro in 1961 and in 1969 after two unsuccessful bids at a major title, he defeated WBC and Lineal Champion Chartchai Chionoi of Thailand by decision to become the flyweight world champion. He lost the title in his second defense to Chartchai Chionoi by decision in 1970. He retired in 1972. Honours Torres was inducted into the World Boxing Hall of Fame in the Class of 2007.
