Edwin R. Pacheco
Edwin R. Pacheco (born 1981) is a former Democratic member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives, representing the 47th District since 2005. During his tenure sessions, he served on the House Committees on Corporations, Municipal Government, Oversight and Separation of Powers. In May 2010, Pacheco was elected as Chairman of the Democratic Party in Rhode Island. Pacheco declared his candidacy for the 2014 election for Secretary of State of Rhode Island in April 2013, but he withdrew from the race in October 2013 and endorsed Guillaume de Ramel. The party has dominated politics in Rhode Island for the past five decades. Nellie Gorbea
Nellie M. Gorbea (born July 12, 1967) is an American politician. A member of the Democratic Party, she has served as the Secretary of State of Rhode Island since January 2015. Gorbea is the first Hispanic to win statewide office in New England. Early life and education Gorbea was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She earned a bachelor's degree from Princeton University's School of International and Public Affairs and a master's degree in public administration from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. She moved to Rhode Island in the mid-1990s. Career Gorbea was Deputy Secretary of State under Secretary of State Matt Brown from 2002 through 2006. All of Rhode Island's executive officers went up for election as well as a United States Senate seat and both of Rhode Island's two seats in the United States House of Representatives. Bill Lynch (politician)
Bill Lynch (born June 12, 1954) is a former American football coach. He was most recently the head football coach at DePauw University, a position he held in 2004 and re-assumed in December 2012 until his retirement after the 2019 season. Lynch also served as the head football coach at Butler University (1985–1989), Ball State University (1995–2002), and Indiana University Bloomington (2007–2010). He was inducted into the Indiana Football Hall of Fame in 2005. High school and college Lynch graduated from Bishop Chatard High School in Indianapolis in 1972. He moved on to Butler University where was a four-year letterwinner as the quarterback for the football squad and a captain of the basketball team.
