Edwin Evers
Edwin Dinan Evers (May 9, 1971 in Hardenberg) is a Dutch drummer and radio presenter of the radio station Radio 538. Biography Evers was born on 9 May 1971 in Hardenberg, the Netherlands, his first experience with radio was by the local broadcaster, also he turned on Saturday night at the local discothèque Celebration, in 1991 he was featured on the radio station Power FM, which broadcast until 1993. In 1992 he was hired by the public broadcaster Veronica Omroep Organisatie by Lex Harding, radio director at that moment, his first program by Veronica was ''Evers in het Wild'' for 3 years, in 1995 Veronica left the public order to start a commercial company with RTL and many presenters moved to this new commercial radio station which was called HitRadio Veronica, he and Robert Jensen were the hosts of the program ''Vrijdagavondkeet'', in 1997 was announced that Evers will change to the public broadcaster KRO on Radio 3FM where he presents the program ''Evers staat op'' from 1998 t ... Hardenberg
Hardenberg (; nds-nl, Haddenbarreg or '' 'n Arnbarg'') is a city and municipality in the province of Overijssel, Eastern Netherlands. The municipality of Hardenberg has a population of about 60,000, with about 19,000 living in the city. It received city rights in 1362 from Jan van Arkel, Bishop of Utrecht. Radio 538 () is a Dutch commercial radio station that was founded in Hilversum, Netherlands in 1992. It is the second-most listened to radio station in the Netherlands. Radio 538 refers to the wavelength on which Radio Veronica used to broadcast in the 1970s. The station is owned by Talpa Network. Mostly targetting a young audience, the station plays a mix of current dance, R&B, pop, and rock hits. The music selection is mainly based on the Dutch Top 40 chart. Its breakfast and drive-time shows are talk-intensive. The station was originally only accessible through cable. In 1998, Radio 538 upgraded their frequency package, allowing for different frequencies by region. HitRadio Veronica was a Dutch commercial radio station that was created when the public broadcaster Veronica Omroep Organisatie left the public system in August 1995, creating the Holland Media Groep with CLT (RTL). Before that Veronica bought the station Holland FM and rebranded it into Hitradio Holland FM and later Hitradio 1224. Most of known Veronica DJs switched to Hitradio 1224.
