Edward Thwaites (4 October 1801 – 18 January 1872) was an English professional cricketer who played first-class cricket between 1825 and 1837. Staplehurst is a town and civil parish in the borough of Maidstone in Kent, England, south of the town of Maidstone and with a population of 6,003. Hawkhurst Moor is a village green and sports field at Hawkhurst in Kent.
