Edward Robinson (Canadian Politician)
Edward Robinson (born 1828 - January 3, 1888) was an Ontario lawyer and political figure. He represented Kent West in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as a Liberal member from 1879 to 1883. He was born in County Roscommon, Ireland in 1829 and educated at Trinity College in Dublin. He came to Toronto in 1854 as head of the mathematics department of the Toronto Grammar School. A Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) is an elected member of the Legislative Assembly of the Canadian province of Ontario. Elsewhere in Canada, the titular designation "Member of Provincial Parliament" has also been used to refer to members of the Legislative Assembly of Lower Canada from 1791 to 1838, and to members of the Legislative Assembly of Quebec from 1955 to 1968. Charles Herbert Mackintosh
The Honourable Charles Herbert Mackintosh (May 13, 1843 – December 22, 1931) was a Canadian journalist and author, newspaper owner and editor, and politician. He served as mayor of Ottawa from 1879 to 1881, represented the City of Ottawa as a Liberal-Conservative Member of Parliament in the House of Commons of Canada from 1882 to 1887, and from 1890 to 1893, and served as Lieutenant Governor of the North-West Territories from 1893 to 1898, as it underwent a major transition toward responsible government. A document commissioned by the Alberta Legislative Assembly states: "Mackintosh was one of three Lieutenant Governors of the jurisdictional antecedents of the Province of Alberta to serve in the capacity of mayor prior to being appointed to the North-West Territories’ Vice-Regal Office. Walter McCrea
Walter McCrea (November 10, 1810 – June 30, 1892) was a Liberal member of the Senate of Canada for Ontario from 1867 to 1871. He was born near Burritt's Rapids in Lanark County in 1810.
