Edward P. Vining
Edward P. Vining (died 1920) was an American writer and railroad executive. He was the author of ''An Inglorious Columbus'' (1885), in which he argued that Hui Shen was originally from Afghanistan, traveled to China and Mexico, and created Mexican culture and religion. He also wrote ''The Mystery of Hamlet. An Attempt to Solve an Old Problem'' (1881), in which he argued that Shakespeare's Hamlet was actually a woman. His work on Hamlet was translated into German and published in Leipzig in 1883. Union Pacific Railroad
The Union Pacific Railroad , legally Union Pacific Railroad Company and often called simply Union Pacific, is a freight-hauling railroad that operates 8,300 locomotives over routes in 23 U.S. states west of Chicago and New Orleans. Union Pacific is the second largest railroad in the United States after BNSF, with which it shares a duopoly on transcontinental freight rail lines in the Western, Midwestern and Southern United States. Founded in 1862, the original Union Pacific Rail Road was part of the first transcontinental railroad project, later known as the Overland Route.
