Edward Nash (painter)
Edward Nash (1778–1821) was an English painter, best known for his Portrait miniature, miniatures. Life Edward Nash was born in 1778. He became a pupil of Samuel Shelley, and trained as a miniaturist.Oliver, ed. 2011. He visited the Netherlands with Robert Southey and his family in 1815. Nash painted a miniature of the famous poet, and a double portrait miniature of Edith May Southey and Sara Coleridge, in 1820.Youngquist; Wang, eds. 2019. In later life, he also spent several years in India. He exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts in London from 1811 to 1820. He died in 1821, in London. Edward Radcliffe-Nash
Edward Radcliffe-Nash (9 June 1888 – 21 February 1915) was a British soldier and horse rider who competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics. He was killed in action during World War I. Early life and education Born in London on 9 June 1888, to Lieutenant-Colonel Edward Nash JP, late the Essex Regiment, of Ballycarty, Tralee, Co. Kerry, and Constance, daughter of John Radcliffe JP of Moorfield Withington. He was educated at Mr. Bulls Preparatory School, Westgate on Sea (1898–1902), Eton (1902 – July 1905) and the Royal Military College, Sandhurst, into which he passed by the entrance exams on 15 August 1905 with the position of 119 from a cadetship of 196, receiving 7,838 marks. He commenced his period at the Royal Military College in September 1905. Edward Radcliffe Nash left Eton at the earliest possible moment (giving up all that Eton could give him over the next two years) to enroll at Sandhurst to enable him to gain seniority in the Army. Edward Nash (sportsman)
Edward Montague Nash (12 April 1902 – 9 May 1985) was an English cricketer and footballer. In cricket, Nash was a right-handed batsman who fielded as a wicket-keeper, while in football he played as a goalkeeper. He was born at Swindon, Wiltshire and died there on 9 May 1985. Cricket Nash made his debut in county cricket for Wiltshire in the 1923 Minor Counties Championship against the Surrey Second XI. Prior to the start of World War II in 1939, Nash made 110 appearances for Wiltshire in the Minor Counties Championship. In 1936, Nash made his first-class for a combined Minor Counties team against Oxford University at the University Parks. In a drawn match, Nash made scores of 45 not out in the Minor Counties first-innings, while in their second-innings he was dismissed for a duck by Peter Whitehouse. Eddie Nash
Eddie Nash (April 3, 1929 – August 9, 2014) was an American nightclub owner and restaurateur in Los Angeles, as well as a convicted money launderer and drug dealer. Nash was allegedly the mastermind behind the Wonderland Murders, but was never convicted, despite multiple arrests and trials. Early life Nash was born Adel Gharib Nasrallah in Mandatory Palestine. His family were Orthodox Christian Palestinians from the city of Ramallah, just outside Jerusalem. Before the creation of Israel in 1948, Nash's family owned 48 hotels. In the early 1950s, Nash immigrated to the United States with only $7. He briefly found work as an actor and stuntman, and was an expert horseman. In 1952, he appeared in a small role as a character named "Nash" in an episode of the Western series ''The Cisco Kid''. Edwin Nash
Edwin Nash (1812 – 14 May 1884) was an English Victorian ecclesiastical architect active in mid-nineteenth-century Kent, England. Most of his commissions were churches. He worked with architect John Nash Round on St. John the Evangelist, Penge (1850). Thereafter he worked alone. He proposed Joseph Fogerty to be a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects. He married Euphemia of Camberwell and was the father of architect Walter Hilton Nash (1850–1927). He was born in Kennington, Surrey, the son of William Woodbridge Nash and Elizabeth, and baptised 8 January 1813. He died at Lawrie Park, Sydenham, Kent, age 70 or 71.
