Eduardo Fernández (guitarist)
Eduardo Fernández (born 1952) is a Uruguayan classical guitarist, teacher and arranger-composer. He received prizes in the 1972 Porto Alegre and 1975 Radio France competitions, won the Premio Andrés Segovia in 1975 and debuted in New York in 1977. After his 1983 London debut, Fernández was signed by Decca Records. His textbook has been published in English as ''Technique, Mechanism, Learning'' (2002). Eduardo Fernández (Venezuelan Politician)
Eduardo Fernández (born 18 October 1940) is a Venezuelan politician and lawyer. He was elected to the Venezuelan Chamber of Deputies in 1968, serving until 1989 (with an interruption to serve as the Deputy Secretary General of the Presidency for Rafael Caldera, until 1974), and was a presidential candidate for COPEI in 1988. He has also served as President of the Christian Democrat International. Background Fernández gained a law degree from Andrés Bello Catholic University in 1963, and graduate degrees in economic development and political science at the International Institute of Social Studies in the Netherlands in 1965 and Georgetown University in the United States in 1967, respectively. Eduardo Gabriel Fernández (born 9 June 1952) is an Argentine public accountant and politician, who served as National Deputy representing Córdoba. A member of the Solidary Party (PSOL), Fernández was elected in 2019 for the Frente de Todos and finished his term in 2023. He presides the Córdoba chapter of the PSOL. Early life and education Fernández was born on 9 June 1952 in the City of Córdoba. He studied public accounting at the National University of Córdoba. Political career Fernández has done his political career in the Solidary Party (PSOL). In 2011, Fernández was the New Encounter candidate to the governorship of Córdoba Province; he garnered 0.93% of the vote and landed fifth in the election.
