Eduardo Alas Alfaro
Eduardo Alas Alfaro (2 July 1930 – 27 February 2020) was a Salvadoran Roman Catholic bishop. Alas Alfaro was born in El Salvador and was ordained to the priesthood in 1960. He served as bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Chalatenango The Diocese of Chalatenango is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Catholic Church in El Salvador. El Salvador (; , meaning " The Saviour"), officially the Republic of El Salvador ( es, República de El Salvador), is a country in Central America. It is bordered on the northeast by Honduras, on the northwest by Guatemala, and on the south by the Pacific Ocean. El Salvador's capital and largest city is San Salvador.
