Edmonton Public Library
The Edmonton Public Library (EPL) is a publicly funded library system in the city of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, available for use by any member of the public. Library cards are free to all Edmontonians; as part of its centennial in 2013, the Edmonton Public Library eliminated membership fees. University of Alberta and MacEwan University students receive free access through the L-Pass program. In 2014, more than 14.1 million visits were made to the Edmonton Public Library, either in physical or virtual form. 10.4 million items were borrowed, and 347,995 people participated in 13,532 library-run programs. Collection EPL has more than 16.6 million items in its collection including books, CDs, DVDs, magazines, video games, and online resources. Clareview Town Centre, formerly comprising Clareview Business Park and Clareview Campus, is a mixed-use neighbourhood located in the Clareview area of northeast Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. List Of Carnegie Libraries In Canada
There are a total of 125 public Carnegie libraries in Canada. Of these, the vast majority (111) were built in Ontario. They were constructed and opened from 1903 to 1922. The Alberta Library
The Alberta Library (TAL) is a not-for-profit library consortium consisting of 50 member libraries and library systems in over 300 locations in the Canadian province of Alberta. Members include public, post-secondary, government and special libraries. It was created in 1997. Edmonton Catholic Separate School District No. 7 or the Edmonton Catholic School District (ECSD) is the Catholic school board in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Capital City Records
Capital City Records is a Canadian online record label, owned and operated by the Edmonton Public Library. The label licenses and distributes locally-released music from Edmonton, Alberta. As of 2018, more than 150 Edmontonian releases have been released on Capital City Records. History In 2015, the Edmonton Public Library unveiled its plan for Capital City Records and announced a call for submissions. Southgate Centre
Southgate Centre is a shopping centre located in south Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, covering just under 90,000 square metres. It contains 165 retailers including The Bay, Aritzia, Zara, Michael Kors, Browns Shoes and Edmonton's only Restoration Hardware and Crate & Barrel. Mill Woods Town Centre is a shopping centre located in south Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in the neighbourhood of Mill Woods. It contains service and retail including North Central CO-OP and Shoppers Drug Mart. Some surrounding satellite stores are located in and around the mall's exterior properties.
