Gressier
Gressier (; ht, Gresye) is a List of communes of Haiti, commune in the Port-au-Prince Arrondissement, in the Ouest (department), Ouest Departments of Haiti, department of Haiti. It has 25,947 inhabitants. According to the CAGH – Committee for the Advancement of Gressier, Gressier has a population of about 75,000. It is located approximately 12.5miles west of Port-au-Prince. With a total land area of 41.11 square miles, it is bordered on the north by the Gulf of La Gonâve. On the east, Gressier is bordered by the town of Carrefour, on the south by the Momance River, and on the west by the town of Leôgane. Corbie (; nl, Korbei) is a commune of the Somme department in Hauts-de-France in northern France. Geography The small town is situated up river from Amiens, in the département of Somme and is the main town of the canton of Corbie. It lies in the valley of the river Somme, at the confluence with the Ancre. The town is bisected by the Canal de la Somme.This satellite photographshows it in its context. The town is to the left and the fenny Somme valley winds down to it from the right. The chalk of the Upper Cretaceous plateau shows pale in the fields. The river Ancre flows down from the north-east. France is divided into 577 constituencies (''circonscriptions'') for the election of deputies to the lower legislative House, the National Assembly (539 in Metropolitan France, 27 in the overseas departments and territories, and 11 for French residents overseas). Deputies are elected in a two round system to a term fixed to a maximum of five years. In 2010, a new set of constituency boundaries was adopted, with the dual purpose of ensuring a more equal number of voters per constituency, and of providing seats in the National Assembly to representatives of French citizens resident outside France. 33 constituencies were abolished, and 33 new ones created. Bonapartism (french: Bonapartisme) is the political ideology supervening from Napoleon Bonaparte and his followers and successors. The term was used to refer to people who hoped to restore the House of Bonaparte and its style of government. In this sense, a ''Bonapartiste'' was a person who either actively participated in or advocated for conservative, monarchist and imperial political factions in 19th-century France.
