Edmond Azemi
Edmond "Edo" Azemi (born 19 September 1980) is a Kosovar-Albanian professional basketball player who plays for KB Prishtina in Kosovo Basketball Superleague and in Balkan International Basketball League. Edmond Azemi is one of the most successful players in the history of basketball in Kosovo. He started the career in Kosovo in KB Prishtina. Most of the years he played with KB Prishtina team where he made history winning 10x Kosovo Basketball superleague, 9x Kosovo Cups, 3x Kosovo Supercups and 2x Balkan League. Edmond Azemi is a member of the Kosovo national basketball team from 2011. He was part of the Albanian national basketball team from 2004 to 2010. Azemi also holds a Croatian passport. Kosovo National Basketball Team
The Kosovo men's national basketball team ( sq, Kombëtarja e basketbollit të meshkujve të Kosovës, sr, Кошаркашкa репрезентација Косова, translit=Košarkaška reprezentacija Kosova) represents Kosovo in international basketball. The Balkan International Basketball League (BIBL), also known as the Balkan League, is a multinational professional basketball league that features mostly clubs from the Balkans. The league included teams from countries as Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania and Israel. The most recent league champion is Hapoel Galil Elyon from Israel. Purpose The purpose of the Balkan International Basketball League is to provide competitive international play for clubs in the Balkans that would otherwise be unable to participate in international basketball. Klubi i Basketbollit Prishtina (English: ''Basketball Club Prishtina''), officially known as Sigal Prishtina due to sponsorship reasons, is a Kosovar professional basketball club based in Pristina.
