Edison Lobão Filho
Edison Lobão Filho (born September 17, 1964) is a Brazilian politician and businessman. He represented Maranhão in the Federal Senate from 2011 to 2015. He is a member of the PMDB. Graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Brasilia and Economics from UniCEUB, he is the son and first substitute of Senator Edison Lobão and Federal Representative Nice Lobão. He assumed the vacancy in the Federal Senate temporarily from January 30, 2008, after his father was licensed to take over the Ministry of Mines and Energy. With the return of Lobão to the Ministry in 2011, Lobão Filho reassumes the mandate. 'Edinho', as it is also known, is one of the owners of the Communication Diffusion System, an affiliate of SBT in the state of Maranhão. Sento Sé
Sento Sé is a municipality in the state of Bahia in the North-East region of Brazil. It covers , and has a population of 40,989 with a population density of 1.28 inhabitants per square kilometer. Sento Sé is located from the state capital of Salvador. Sento Sé has a peculiar history. It is among the five cities that had to be flooded because of construction of the Sobradinho Dam. Flávio Dino
Flávio Dino de Castro e Costa (born 30 April 1968) is a Brazilian attorney, politician and teacher. A former federal judge, Dino was elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 2006, serving a four-year term until 2011, representing the state of Maranhão. He was elected as the governor of Maranhão after running in the 2014 election. He became the governor of Maranhão on 1 January 2015. He was reelected in 2018. Dino also served 3 years as president of Embratur, a federal agency promoting Brazilian tourism, between his legislative term and gubernatorial term. Dino was considered a leading left-wing candidate in the 2022 presidential election but chose to forgo a candidacy, instead choosing to run for Senate.
