Edgmer Escalona
Edgmer Eduarado Escalona (born October 6, 1986) is a Venezuelan professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He played for the Colorado Rockies of Major League Baseball. Career Colorado Rockies Escalona began his professional career in 2006, playing for the DSL Rockies, going 0-2 with a 7.11 ERA in 14 games. In 2007, he went 1-1 with a 4.05 ERA in 18 relief appearances for the Casper Rockies, and in 2008 he went 6-2 with a 3.22 ERA in 44 appearances for the Asheville Tourists. Escalona split the 2009 season between the Modesto Nuts (28 games) and Tulsa Drillers (38 games), going a combined 3-2 with a 2.47 ERA in 59 games. Escalona began the 2010 season with the Triple-A Colorado Springs Sky Sox. He was called up to the majors in May 2010, but he was sent back to Triple-A the next day without appearing. Ubaldo Jiménez
Ubaldo Jiménez García (born January 22, 1984) is a Dominican-American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Colorado Rockies, Cleveland Indians and Baltimore Orioles. Jiménez was an MLB All-Star in 2010. That year, he pitched the first no-hitter in Rockies' franchise history. Jimenez earned his 100th MLB career victory on September 22, 2015 as a member of the Baltimore Orioles, while pitching against the Washington Nationals. In 2016, he became an American citizen. Early life Jiménez was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. His father, Ubaldo, served in the Dominican Army and the family never had enough money to buy a house. The Guerreros de Oaxaca (English: Oaxaca Warriors) are a professional baseball team in the Mexican League based in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca, Mexico. Their home field is Estadio Eduardo Vasconcelos. History In October 1995, a group of businessmen, led by Alfredo Harp Helú, learned that the Charros de Jalisco were unable to continue participating in the league. These businessmen saw the opportunity to move the team from Guadalajara to the city of Oaxaca, and the project was officially presented at a meeting of directors of the Mexican League. The Acereros de Monclova (English: Monclova Steelers) are a professional baseball team in the Mexican League based in Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico. Their home ballpark is Estadio de Béisbol Monclova, which has a capacity of 11,000 people. The Acereros replaced the Mineros de Coahuila in the 1976 season.
