Edgewood Railroad Station (New York)
Edgewood was a former train station for the New York Central Railroad in the hamlet of Edgewood, located in the town of Hunter, Greene County, New York, United States. Built by the Ulster and Delaware Railroad for its branches to Kaaterskill and Hunter, the station opened on September 28, 1881. Edgewood Station (LIRR)
Deer Park is a station along the Main Line (Ronkonkoma Branch) of the Long Island Rail Road. It is officially located at Pineaire Drive, Executive (formerly Grant) Avenue, and Long Island Avenue near Deer Park, New York. The actual location is in Baywood, New York, directly over the Deer Park border. History Deer Park, sometimes mentioned as Deerpark, station was previously located at the bridge over New York State Route 231, until it was moved as part of a major reconstruction project of the line at Ronkonkoma, Central Islip, Brentwood, Deer Park, and Wyandanch. The original station was built in 1842, then rebuilt in 1884, and again 1936 for the bridge over Deer Park Avenue (NY 231 did not exist at the time). Edgewood Station (MARC)
Edgewood station is a passenger rail station on the Northeast Corridor in the unincorporated area, unincorporated community of Edgewood, Maryland, served by the MARC train, MARC Penn Line. Edgewood station serves the southern terminus of Maryland Route 755 which terminates at an entrance to the Aberdeen Proving Ground. The station has two side platforms with a small station building north of the tracks. Parking is located on either side of the station area. History The former Edgewood station of the Pennsylvania Railroad was designed by architect Lester C. Tichy in association with designer Raymond Loewy. The station is also located east of Amtrak's Edgewood Interlocking Tower, previously owned by the Pennsylvania Railroad. Edgewood / Candler Park Station
Edgewood / Candler Park is a train station in Atlanta, Georgia, on the Blue Line of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) rail system. Currently, the station also serves as the terminus of the Green Line on weekdays. On weekends, Green Line service instead terminates two stops to the west at King Memorial. The station opened on June 30, 1979. This station was proposed to be the final connecting point between the Eastbound Train (now known as Blue Line) and Proctor Creek Lines (now Green Line) before it shifted toward North Central DeKalb. Two stations for that area were planned: Emory and Druid Hills, respectively, before they were ultimately canceled. An additional station was planned on the Green Line to end at Perry Homes on the Western side, but ultimately, only Bankhead was built.
