Edgar Pick
Edgar Pick is an Israeli immunologist who is Professor Emeritus of Immunology in the Department of Clinical Microbiology and Immunology at the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, Israel. Early life and education Pick was born in 1938 in Lugoj, Romania. After receiving his Baccalaureate degree, baccalaureate at the Coriolan Brediceanu High School in Lugoj, he enrolled at the Victor Babeș University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Timișoara, Victor Babeș University of Medicine and Pharmacy. He completed his medical studies at the Hebrew University Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem, graduating with an M.D. in 1965. He was a postdoctoral fellow in experimental pathology at the Scripps Research, Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation in La Jolla, California, from 1965 to 1967, where he trained with Joseph D. Gordon Research Conferences are a group of international scientific conferences organized by a non-profit organization of the same name. The conference topics cover frontier research in the biological, chemical, and physical sciences, and their related technologies. The conferences have been held since 1931, and have expanded to almost 200 conferences per year. Anthony Walter Segal FRS FMedSci (born 24 February 1944) is a British physician/scientist. Education He was educated at the University of Cape Town (MB ChB, MD) and University of London (MSc, DSc, PhD).
