Edgar Elizalde
Edgar Joel Elizalde Ferreira (born 27 February 2000) is a Uruguayan professional footballer who plays as a defender for Argentine Primera División club Independiente. Club career He made his Serie B debut for Pescara on 28 October 2017 in a game against Brescia. On 19 August 2019, he joined Catanzaro on loan. On 29 January 2020, Pescara recalled him from loan. On 22 January 2021, Elizalde was loaned to Juve Stabia in Serie C. On 6 August 2021, he joined Peñarol on loan. On 7 July 2022, Argentine club Independiente signed Elizalde on permanent basis on a contract until December 2025. Casupá
Casupá is a town in the Florida Department of southern-central Uruguay. Geography The town is located on Route 7, around northeast of Montevideo. History Casupá was founded on 15 September 1908, and on 12 June 1924, it was declared "Pueblo" (village) by the Act of Ley N° 7.728. 2019–20 Serie C
The 2019–20 Serie C was the sixth season of the unified Serie C division, the third tier of the Italian football league system. The season was scheduled to run from 24 August 2019 to 26 April 2020, however, on 9 March 2020, the Italian government halted the league until 3 April 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Italy. Serie C did not resume play on this date. On 18 May, it was announced that Italian football would be suspended until 14 June. On 8 June, the Italian Football Federation formally declared Monza, Vicenza, and Reggina as champions of their respective groups, thus awarding them promotion to Serie B, while also confirming the promotion and relegations playoff will take place as planned, based on the league standings by the time of the regular season suspension. 2022 Supercopa Uruguaya
The 2022 Supercopa Uruguaya was the fifth edition of the Supercopa Uruguaya, Uruguay's association football, football super cup. It was held on 30 January 2022 between the 2021 Uruguayan Primera División season, 2021 Primera División champions Peñarol and the 2021 Uruguayan Primera División season#Torneo Apertura, 2021 Torneo Apertura champions Club Plaza Colonia de Deportes, Plaza Colonia. Originally the match was scheduled to be played at Estadio Silvestre Octavio Landoni in Durazno, however, the Durazno Intendancy declined to host it due to an increase of COVID-19 cases in the Durazno Department. On 21 January 2022, the Uruguayan Football Association (AUF) announced that the match was moved to Estadio Domingo Burgueño in Maldonado, Uruguay, Maldonado. The Supercopa Uruguaya (''Uruguayan Supercup'') is an annual one-match football official competition in Uruguay organised by the Uruguayan Football Association (AUF) which is played between the Primera División champions and the Torneo Intermedio winners of the previous season, starting from 2018. This competition serves as the season curtain-raiser and is scheduled to be played in late January or early February each year, one week before the start of the season. The 2022 Liga Profesional de Primera División season, also known as the Campeonato Uruguayo de Primera División 2022, was the 119th season of the Uruguayan Primera División, Uruguay's top-flight football league, and the 92nd in which it is professional. The season, which was named "Walter Devoto", began on 5 February and ended on 30 October 2022 due to the 2022 FIFA World Cup to be held in Qatar during November and December 2022.
