Edathala
Edathala is a gram panchayat near Aluva town. It is also a village in Aluva taluk of Ernakulam district, in the state of Kerala, India. History About 300 years ago, Padamattam was the place where the Lord King of Edappally fought against Kalathil Kartha. The South Indian Armory of the Indian Navy is located near the battlefield. Aluva
Aluva (; also known by its former name Alwaye) is a town in the Ernakulam District in Kerala, India. It is a part of the Kochi metropolitan area and is situated around from the city center on the banks of Periyar River. Sree Kurumbakkavu Bhagavathy Temple Edathala
Edathala's Sree Kurumbakkavu Bhagavathy Temple is in a village that is 8 km from Aluva Railway station and 20 km from Cochin international Airport. The Divine Mother known as Kurumbakavilamma is worshiped here as the main deity. Apart from the main deity, the temple complex consists of a temple for Sastha, peedam for Nagas, Khandakarnan, Rakshas and Kshetrapalakan. Meena Bharani, the birthday of Kurumbakavilamma, is the most important festival of the temple and is celebrated on "Bharani Nakshatram" in Meenam (March/April). Pukkattupady is a suburb of the City of Kochi, in Ernakulam District, Kerala, India. It is in intersection of major bus route from Aluva Town via F.A.C.T and BPCL to Thrippunithura and Kolenchery via Kizhakkambalam and the routes from Perumbavoor to Ernakulam via NPOL or Edappally.
