Edward Antonio Rogers (born August 29, 1978) is a retired utility infielder who played with the Baltimore Orioles. He bats and throws right-handed. Career Baltimore Orioles Rogers was signed by the Baltimore Orioles as a free agent in . He debuted in Major League Baseball with the Orioles, playing for them in parts of three seasons between and . In , he hit his only major league home run in his only at-bat of the season. It came against Alan Embree of the New York Yankees. An infielder is a baseball player stationed at one of four defensive "infield" positions on the baseball field.
