Ed Baines
Edward "Ed" Baines is an English chef best known for being a judge on ''Britain's Best Dish'' and for being an alternate chef on '' Sunday Feast'' with Paul Merrett. He trained in The River Café (London), The River Café in London and his flagship restaurant is Randall & Aubin. Television Baines' previous shows have included his first TV series ''Lunch with Ed Baines'', which aired on Carlton Food Network and had him cooking for and then lunching with his famous friends at Randall & Aubin. In 1999, he presented a six-part television series on ITV called ''Ed Baines Entertains'', filmed at Randall & Aubin. He recorded two further series, which were broadcast during 2000 and 2001. The River Café (London)
The River Café is a restaurant in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, London, specialising in Italian cuisine. It was owned and run by chefs Ruth Rogers and Rose Gray until Gray's death in 2010; since then, Rogers has been the sole owner and has run the restaurant. Ready Steady Cook
''Ready Steady Cook'' is a BBC daytime TV cooking game show. It debuted on 24 October 1994 and the last original edition was broadcast on 2 February 2010. The programme was hosted by Fern Britton from 1994 until 2000 when celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott became the new host. In August 2000, when Harriott took over, the duration of the programme was extended from 30 to 45 minutes. Anton Mosimann
Anton Mosimann OBE, DL (born 23 February 1947) is a Swiss chef and restaurateur who was ''Maitre Chef des Cuisines'' at the Dorchester Hotel for thirteen years, during which time its restaurant achieved a rating of two stars in the ''Michelin Guide''. After leaving The Dorchester Mosimann took over a private dining club called The Belfrey and created Mosimann's, a cookery school, and other enterprises in the hospitality industry. ''Pointless'' is a British television quiz show produced by Banijay subsidiary Remarkable Television for the BBC. It is hosted by Alexander Armstrong. In each episode four teams of two contestants attempt to find correct but obscure answers to four rounds of general knowledge questions with the winning team eligible to compete for the show's cash jackpot. All questions used on the show are factual in nature and are asked of a panel of 100 individuals in a pre-conducted public survey. A correct answer scores one point for each survey subject who gave it and the objective is to achieve as low a score as possible. "Pointless" answers are correct responses that were not given by anyone surveyed, score zero points and are the most desirable. Paul Rankin
Paul Rankin (born 1 October 1959 in Glasgow, Scotland) is a celebrity chef from Ballywalter, County Down, Northern Ireland. Rankin's parents moved back to Ballywalter, where he grew up, some time after he was born. This was stated when he was the subject of an episode of a short programme named ''Proud Parents'' on Channel 4, made in 2006. On the episode of ''Ready Steady Cook'' first broadcast on Tuesday 26 February 2008, he himself stated he was born in Scotland.
