Ecuador National Beach Soccer Team
The Ecuador national beach soccer team represents Ecuador in international beach soccer competitions and is controlled by the Ecuadorian Football Federation, the governing body for football in Ecuador. The team made their debut in international beach soccer at the 2009 World Cup qualifiers. Having reached the semi-finals of the World Cup qualifying championship on three previous occasions without finishing as one of the top three nations who qualify to the World Cup, Ecuador finally secured their first qualification to the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in 2017. Ecuadorian Football Federation
The Ecuadorian Football Federation ( es, Federación Ecuatoriana de Fútbol or ) is the governing body of football in Ecuador. Its headquarters are in Quito, and it organizes the country's various football competitions and oversees the Ecuador national team. History Numerous amateur federations sprouted in the provinces with the largest cities, being Quito, and Guayaquil. Seeking to unify and compete against each federation, the Football Federation was created on May 30, 1925, known as Association of Ecuadorian Football. The 2019 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup was the 10th FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, the premier international beach soccer championship contested by men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA.
