Ecologists And Civic Networks
Ecologists and Civic Networks ( it, Ecologisti e Reti Civiche) was a green coalition of parties in Italy. Modelled on the French Europe Ecology – The Greens, the coalition was launched in November 2011. Its core was composed by the Federation of the Greens. According to Angelo Bonelli, the Green leader of the time, the new political force would take inspiration also from the German '' Grünen'' and would be open to the contribution of movements and associations, notably including Beppe Grillo's Five Star Movement. Green politics, or ecopolitics, is a political ideology that aims to foster an ecologically sustainable society often, but not always, rooted in environmentalism, nonviolence, social justice and grassroots democracy. Five Star Movement
The Five Star Movement ( it, Movimento 5 Stelle , M5S) is a political party in Italy. Its leader and president is Giuseppe Conte, Prime Minister of Italy from 2018 until 2021. The M5S was founded on 4 October 2009 by Beppe Grillo, a comedian and blogger, and Gianroberto Casaleggio, a web strategist. From 2014 to 2017, it was a member of the Europe of Freedom and Direct Democracy group in the European Parliament, along with the UK Independence Party and minor Eurosceptic parties. Mario Tozzi
Mario Tozzi (30 October 1895 – 8 September 1979) was an Italian painter. He was awarded the Legion of Honour by the French government. Biography Tozzi studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna in Italy where he met Giorgio Morandi and Osvaldo Licini. He graduated in 1916. After the First World War, he moved to Paris, France and founded the ''Groupe des Sept'' (also known as ''Les Italiens de Paris'') with Massimo Campigli, Giorgio de Chirico, Filippo de Pisis, Renato Paresce, Alberto Savinio and Gino Severini. Tozzi returned to Rome in 1936. His work was exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 1938, 1942, 1948, 1952 and 1954. He returned to France in 1971, dying there in 1979. Dacia Maraini (; born November 13, 1936) is an Italian writer. Maraini's work focuses on women's issues, and she has written numerous plays and novels. Giuseppe Piero "Beppe" Grillo (; born 21 July 1948) is an Italian comedian, actor, blogger, and politician. He has been involved in politics since 2009 as the co-founder (together with Gianroberto Casaleggio) of the Italian Five Star Movement political party. Grillo became one of the most prominent examples of the populist surge which arose in Europe during the 2010s. Early life and career Grillo was born in Genoa, Liguria, on 21 July 1948. Angelo Bonelli (born 30 July 1962) is an Italian politician. He is the spokesperson of Green Europe. In 1990 he became councillor for the XIII district of the City of Rome and from 1993 to 1994 he was president of this district. He was also Regional Councillor and Regional Assessor for environment in Lazio.
