Huang Yiliang
Ng Aik Leong (Chinese: ), better known by his Chinese name Huang Yiliang, is a former veteran Singaporean television actor and director. He was a full-time Mediacorp artiste from 1980 to 2006, after which he decide not to renew after the contract ends. Acting career Huang started as an actor with Mediacorp. He won the ''Best Supporting Actor'' Star Awards three times and Top 10 Most Popular Male Artistes during his 20-year career there. Huang left the entertainment industry in 2006. Huang felt that it was time to move on to a different challenge after having acted for the past 20 years and started his own movie producing company Red Group Film and became a movie producer, a film-director and a movie actor. Shin Min Daily News
''Shin Min Daily News'' () is a Singapore Chinese-language afternoon newspaper currently published by SPH Media Trust. First started on 18 March 1967, by Singapore businessman Liang Runzhi (梁潤之) and the renowned Hong Kong writer Louis Cha as an offshoot of Hong Kong's ''Ming Pao'', it featured exclusive serializations of some of Cha's ''wuxia'' novels in its early days. In the early 1980s, Cha sold his shares in the paper after the Singapore government ruled that foreigners could only hold up to 3% of shares in locally based papers. ''Shin Min'' is a tabloid-style paper focusing on entertainment and local news with sensationalised headlines, although it is printed on broadsheets. Lianhe Wanbao (; literally Joint Evening News) was a Singapore Chinese afternoon newspaper published daily by SPH Media Trust from 16 March 1983 after the merger between ''Nanyang Siang Pau'' and '' Sin Chew Jit Poh''. ''Lianhe Wanbao'' focused mainly on local and entertainment news with minimal international coverage. As such it was in competition with another SPH paper ''Shin Min Daily News''. Amongst Singapore readers ''Lianhe Wanbao'' was often regarded more of a tabloid published in broadsheet form, and the veracity of some reports (mostly reproduced from tabloids or gossip magazines from Hong Kong or Taiwan) was sometimes questioned. Nathaniel Ho
Nathaniel "Nat" Ho (, born 23 August 1984) is a Singaporean actor and singer. Career Ho was originally one of the Top 30 contestants in the inaugural season of Singapore Idol in 2004. He was also awarded the 'Most Promising Artiste' in 2004, by the Singapore Armed Forces Music and Drama Company. One of his first acting roles was in the Channel 5 drama '' Shooting Stars''. Following that, Nat was given the lead role in a local feature film, ''Smell of Rain''. Xiang Yun
Chen Cuichang (born 27 October 1961), better known by her stage name Xiang Yun, is a Singaporean actress & television host. She is commonly referred to as MediaCorp's first "Ah Jie" (Senior actress) for being among the first locally trained artistes and has been in the entertainment industry for more than 29 years. Edmund Chen () (born 4 February 1961) is a Singaporean former actor and artist. He began his career in 1987 and rose to become one of Singapore's most prominent and popular actors during the 1990s and early 2000s. Career Chen entered the entertainment industry after completing the SBC (predecessor of MediaCorp) 7th drama training course in 1987.
