Echoes of Eternity is an American progressive metal band based in Los Angeles, California, United States. Their debut album ''The Forgotten Goddess'', was released in February 2007 on Nuclear Blast records. The band's follow up album, ''As Shadows Burn'', was released on September 25, 2009 via Massacre Records in Europe and on September 22, 2009 via Nuclear Blast in the U.S. History Echoes of Eternity was founded in 2005 by South Carolina natives Kirk Carrison and Brandon Patton. Carrison met vocalist Francine Boucher while attending Full Sail recording school in Florida. The two began dating and moved to Los Angeles together following their graduation in 2001 to seek work in recording studios. After a few failed music projects, Carrison urged longtime friend and guitarist Patton to move to Los Angeles and form a band. Logan Conrad Mader (born November 16, 1970) is a Canadian record producer and current guitarist of melodic death metal band Once Human, as well as the former lead guitarist of groove metal band Machine Head. The Trail of Tears was an ethnic cleansing and forced displacement of approximately 60,000 people of the "Five Civilized Tribes" between 1830 and 1850 by the United States government. As part of the Indian removal, members of the Cherokee, Muscogee (Creek), Seminole, Chickasaw, and Choctaw nations were forcibly removed from their ancestral homelands in the Southeastern United States to newly designated Indian Territory west of the Mississippi River after the passage of the Indian Removal Act in 1830. The Cherokee removal in 1838 (the last forced removal east of the Mississippi) was brought on by the discovery of gold near Dahlonega, Georgia, in 1828, resulting in the Georgia Gold Rush. Light This City is an American melodic death metal band from the Bay Area of San Francisco, that has been active from 2002. The band is notable for the aggressive vocal approach of frontwoman Laura Nichol. History Light This City's first album, ''The Hero Cycle'', was released through Reflections on Ruin Records in 2003. Into Eternity is a Canadian progressive metal band from Regina, Saskatchewan, formed in 1997 by Tim Roth, Scott Krall and Jim Austin. History First five albums Into Eternity was formed in 1997 by founding members Tim Roth, Scott Krall and Jim Austin and later released an eponymous, independent album in 1999, with the addition of Chris Eisler and Chris McDougall.
