Ece Tekmen (born 23 February 2002) is a Turkish women's football midfielder, who plays for ALG Spor and the Turkey women's national football team. Club career Tekmen started her football career at the Second League women's football club Harb-İş Spor in Kocaeli. Ahe played for the Kocaeli Bayan FK. In 2019, she suffered cruciate ligament rupture, which caused a stay off from the pitch for five months in the beginning of the 2019–20 Turkish Women's First Football League season. The team finished the 2018–19 Turkish Second Football League season as runner-up, and was promoted to the First League. Kocaeli Province
Kocaeli Province ( tr, Kocaeli ili, ) is a Provinces of Turkey, province of Turkey and one of only three not to have the same official name as its capital, İzmit, which is thus also sometimes called Kocaeli. The 2019 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship qualifying competition was a women's under-17 football competition that determined the seven teams joining the automatically qualified hosts Bulgaria in the 2019 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship final tournament. Apart from Bulgaria, 46 of the remaining 54 UEFA member national teams entered the qualifying competition. Players born on or after 1 January 2002 were eligible to participate.
