Eccentrik Festival
The Eccentrik Festival was an annual 3-day Goth and industrial music festival held in the Raleigh, North Carolina area and had in some years been spread out between several different venues. The festival started in October 2004. Musical styles typically featured at Eccentrik included deathrock, psychobilly, gothic rock, industrial, post-punk, dark cabaret, steampunk, synthpop and other related genres. The festival was also notable for its party-like atmosphere, the pre-festival meet n' greet, art show, and a dancefloor featuring goth, deathrock, industrial, steampunk and post-punk djs from around the US. In 2008, the Eccentrik Festival went steampunk by asking some of the most well-known musicians in that genre to perform, as well as having the Davenport sisters of the weekly radio program, The Clockwork Cabaret, act as hosts for the event. The Gothsicles
The Gothsicles is an American industrial and electronic body music (EBM) band formerly based out of Chicago, Illinois before moving to Boston, Massachusetts in 2018. The group was formed in Wisconsin in 2002 by Brian "darkNES" Graupner, who handles vocals and synthesizers, and is the sole consistent member. The band has a rotating lineup of live musicians, including Matt Fanale of Caustic, Matt Slegel of Angelspit, and David Dodson of Abstinence. The band released its first LP, '' NESferatu'', in 2006. Meg Lee Chin is a Taiwanese-Irish singer, songwriter, audio and video producer, writer and art activist who lives in London, England. She is known as an early pioneer of the home studio revolution and female-produced music. Attrition are an English electronic music band, formed in Coventry in 1980 by Martin Bowes and Julia Niblock. The band emerged from the experimental post-punk scene of the early 1980s and, along with other groups such as Throbbing Gristle, Coil, Einstürzende Neubauten, and In the Nursery, greatly contributed to the development of industrial music in the UK. Anders Manga is an American recording artist best known for his self named Darkwave work and under the name Bloody Hammers. His first release was under the name "Coffin Moth" in 1997, a Deathrock music project. In 2012, Anders' song "Glamour" was featured in Season 4 Episode 04 of ''The Vampire Diaries''. In 2019, he released "The Summoning, a new album by Bloody Hammers, his heavy rock project with wife Devallia. The Last Dance (band)
The Last Dance is an American dark wave band from Southern California that was for several years signed to the now-defunct Dancing Ferret Discs label.
